National Home Performance Conference (Building Performance Association)
The Building Performance Association was formed through the merger of Affordable Comfort, Inc., the National Home Performance Coalition, Efficiency First, the Home Performance Coalition, and Home Energy Magazine. The Association supports home performance contractors, weatherization agencies and training centers, product manufacturers and distributors, program sponsors and implementers, building scientists, and non-profits focused on residential and commercial energy efficiency. The National Home Performance Conference is the industry’s largest gathering of home performance experts, along with industry leaders, partners, and innovators. The largest set of presentations in the conference is the IAQ and Healthy Homes track. The Association typically hosts two regional home performance conferences each year also with an IAQ and Healthy Homes track.
ACEEE Conference on Health, Environment and Energy (American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy)
ACEEE's Conference on Health, Environment and Energy (CHEE) charts innovative paths toward a healthy, clean energy future by collaborating with professionals from a variety of fields including hospitals, utilities, and public health departments. CHEE focuses on opportunities to share ideas and collaborate on initiatives to save energy, reduce pollution, and protect public health. The program includes sessions on the most relevant issues in health and the environment. A cross-section of participants includes health professionals, researchers, policymakers, environmental regulators and advocates, utility staff, architects, general contractors, NGOs, low-income community advocates, consultants, and energy experts.
National Healthy Homes Conference (HUD Office of Lead Hazard Control and Healthy Housing)
The biennial National Healthy Home Conference focuses on bringing critical healthy home outcomes results to HUD grantees engaged in healthy homes work at the local level. The program covers such topics as social determinants of health, what’s working in the field, healthy housing issues emerging in the field, and new program directions. The conference provides a perfect setting for environmental health practitioners, local and state government officials, and industry practitioners to meet, exchange ideas, and establish working relationships with one another. HUD also sponsors a series of regional asthma summits.
IAQ and Energy Conference (Maine Indoor Air Quality Council)
The Maine IAQ and Energy Conference is a small regional conference attracting a regional New England audience with a who's who speaker list from research, academia, industry, and leading practitioners. The IAQ and Energy Conference focuses on all the components to design, construct, operate, and maintain healthy, environmentally-sustainable indoor spaces.
Building Science Conference and Expo (BIA of Central Kentucky)
This regional Building Science Conference provides CEU training and certification opportunities while offering sessions relating to IAQ and healthy housing, quality management, commercial building science, workforce development initiatives, serving hard-to-reach customers, and multifamily housing energy efficiency programs.
Energy OutWest Conference (Energy OutWest)
Energy OutWest (EOW) is an independent organization devoted to the advancement of knowledge and practice in the field of weatherization. The mission of Energy OutWest is to promote and advance the technical capacity of the region's environmental and energy services network and to provide quality services targeting but not limited to low-income households. The biennial Energy OutWest conference has tracks relating to weatherization plus health activities delivered through the national low-income Weatherization Assistance Program.
