Part VII: SMB Member Commitments

The SMB oversees the integrity of BPI’s standards development process, including due process, openness, balance, and compliance with BPI-1 and ANSI Essential Requirements. SMB members do not determine technical content.
Time commitment for meetings is expected to be 1-2 hours once per month.
