(Saratoga Springs) - The Building Performance Institute, Inc. is excited to welcome three new distinguished leaders to our Board of Directors!
 
With expertise spanning home energy education, workforce development, and community impact, these new members bring decades of experience training thousands of professionals, advancing equitable access to opportunities, and driving innovation in building science and energy efficiency. 
 
Brynn Cooksey Sr., Air Doctors Heating and Cooling & HVAC U
Brynn Cooksey Sr., known as the “Air Doctor,” is the owner of Air Doctors Heating and Cooling and HVAC U, with decades of expertise in HVACR and building science. As a Certified Master Trainer who has taught over 10,000 professionals, Brynn continues to shape the industry through award-winning efficiency solutions, technical training, and thought leadership.
 
Dr. Carlene Lacey, ON-RAMP
Dr. Carlene Lacey is the inaugural CEO of Central New York’s ON-RAMP, bringing decades of expertise in leadership, workforce development, and community engagement. With a career dedicated to advancing equitable access and building strong partnerships, she leads ON-RAMP’s mission to create a skilled, inclusive talent pipeline for advanced manufacturing and construction industries in Central New York.
 
Spencer Rosen, Home Energy Academy
Spencer Rosen is a leading home energy educator and founder of Home Energy Academy, with 20+ years in energy efficiency, solar, storage, and electrification. From training thousands of professionals to co-inventing award-winning solar software, his work focuses on turning complex science into practical solutions for homes and communities.
