There is a tremendous difference in being a manager and being an “effective” manager. This presentation will cover some very practical tips on how to be a very effective manager. During the presentation we will cover seven (7) attributes of effective managers, four (4) ways to increase communications and we will look at three (3) specific goals to meet. We will also discuss three (3) great ways to motivate your people, six (6) measurements of your success and finally three (3) numbers every manager needs to fully understand. It matters not if you are new manager or have been in the position for year…..you will find value in this presentation.
Specific Learning Objectives: Most managers are simply promoted into the new positions based of the fact that they did an outstanding job in their previous position. Bottom line, few are given any additional training in “how” to become an effective manager. This course will provide so very practical tips on how to be a very effective manager.
Session Outline: This is a very practical session. Attendees will learn things like how attitude affects the job, how to hold weekly meetings, short interval scheduling to improve productivity, creating and using a To Do list and lots more.
