What are CEU Providers?

CEU Providers are existing BPI Test Centers, training providers, or other external organizations (e.g., community colleges, conferences, or universities). BPI CEU Providers offer training opportunities for BPI Certified Pros seeking to renew their certifications.

Benefits of becoming a CEU Provider

CEU Providers help BPI Certified Pros maintain the highest level of quality and professionalism and get CEUs to recertify.

  • If the CEU Provider is also a BPI Test Center, you get free submissions of classes/courses.
  • Free advertising for your classes; classes get listed where BPI Certified Professionals can easily find them.
  • You oversee the entire process from course development to submission and managing participation.
  • As a CEU Provider, you do not need to provide BPI candidates with certificates.
What curricula should I develop as a CEU Provider?

Your courses should support BPI certifications. Please see our Certified Professionals page for their descriptions and Certification Scheme Handbooks.

  • For the Home Energy Professional (HEP) certifications, BPI-recognized CEUs must conform with the Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) in the designated Handbook.
  • For all other BPI certifications, BPI-recognized CEUs must align with BPI Testing Knowledge Lists and BPI Standards.
How do I get my courses reviewed for CEUs?
  • Please review BPI's CEU Provider Policy for detailed information about how BPI awards credits.
  • Once you are ready to submit your course for review, please send your request through the CEU Provider Account.
  • Step-by-step instructions on how to enter courses on the CEU Account can be found here.

Did you know? CEU Providers can also be BPI Test Centers
